Managed Cloud Optimization

Cut cloud spend. Lift gross margin. Always free.

An always-free FinOps service, with paid tiers that add AWS security and compliance — designed to reduce cloud spend and improve cost of goods sold for software products listed on cloud marketplaces.

What you get, always free

Savings first — no fee, no engineering.

Paid tiers from $500/month add security and compliance.

Up to 43% off on-demand

Often enough to offset your listing costs — or fund the next one.

COGS Optimization Check-In

A standing monthly or quarterly review of what your cloud spend does to cost of goods sold.

No engineering work

No migration, nothing to build — and the platform itself is free.

Why it works

The trade-off native commitments force.

The binary trap

The shortest commitment any cloud sells is a year. Take one and you pay for capacity you stop using when demand shifts or a workload moves.

A hard coverage cap

Native commitments alone cap most teams at 60–80% coverage, leaving 20–40% of reservable spend at on-demand rates — 30%+ above committed pricing.

Insured commitments close that gap to 95–100% coverage, with downside protection.

The math

Cloud spend is a gross-margin decision.

The part of your cloud bill not yet under commitment is where this works — and what comes off it lands in gross margin.

How the security tiers work

Agentless and read-only

Paid tiers add a read-only role to your AWS accounts. Nothing is installed and nothing runs in your environment.

Hands-on remediation

OBP engineers help your team fix findings: 20 hours a quarter on Growth, 40 on Enterprise.

Ready for audits

Growth and Enterprise map your AWS controls to SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS and more, with audit-ready evidence.

Security and compliance features cover AWS accounts. Cost optimization covers AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

How an insured commitment works

You carry 30 days. The platform carries the rest.

A standard three-year commitment with a downside risk-hedge on top. You commit 30 days at a time; the platform holds the three-year commitment underneath — it is not your liability. Coverage matches peak usage, and if usage drops the unused portion is refunded.

Native 3-year commitments discount deeper, at 57%, in exchange for three-year lock-in. The platform earns nothing on native terms, and is paid only on the terms it insures.
